Chicken gravy the most famous and delicious south Indian non vegetarian food recipe. This recipe is also called as chicken curry recipe or chicken korma more spicy and tasty. In south India it very famous Andra style know as kodi kura in Telugu and Tamil it is know as  chicken kulambu. Chicken is our favorite recipe that we like to prepare or we eat regular dishes like chicken kabab, chicken 65, chili chicken, Chicken Manchurian, chicken biryani and more. Now you can try this Indian style chicken gravy or chicken curry at your home in very simple steps.
Chicken curry or gravy recipe will be very nice for having with white rice, dosa or chapati for your lunch or dinner. You can prepare this recipe boneless or boned chicken as per your likes.

To make best chicken curry recipe at your home in Indian style with just simple ingredients and easy method.

  • Chicken 1/2 kg bone or boneless
  • Onion 2
  • Tomato 4
  • Green chili 3
  • Turmeric 1/2 tea spoon
  • Salt as per taste
  • Lemon 1
  • Coconut small piece
  • Mint leaves
  • Ginger small 2 piece
  • Garlic 6 pieces
  • Chicken Masala
  • Garam Masala
  • Coriander  leaves

Chicken gravy preparation

Preparing chicken gravy recipe is very easy take 1/2 kg chicken bone or boneless and wash cleanly. Before starting recipe we have prepare paste, heat pan add some oil to fry some onions, 2 tomato, coconut small piece and mint leaves, chilies, ginger and garlic.
Fry until it gets light brown color and take mixer grind well until it becomes paste in green color.

How to make chicken gravy step by step

After completing all preparation above method now you can start making chicken curry or gravy in simple steps below.

  1. Heat the pan add some oil then add chopped onions, 2 chopped tomatoes curry leaves, green chilies and fry well. Chilies should cut in straight 2 pieces add 2 chilies.
  2. Now add the cleaned chicken pieces 1/2 kg and mix well heat in medium flame.
  3. After adding chicken now you can add the paste which is grinned in mixer.

  1. Also add other ingredients 1 teaspoon chili powder,  1 tea spoon garam masala, half packet of chicken masala powder and salt as per taste.
  2. Then gently mix this all ingredients well cook in high flame until the chicken gets boiled.
  3. After few minutes check if chicken is boiled well now add 1/2 lemon juice and mix the recipe well.
  4. Spread chopped coriander leaves in the top and close the lid.
  5. The nice and tasty chicken gravy is ready to serve with rice or chapati.
